Flo： Well that’s the whole problem with music industry that there are no diplomas. Well there are diplomas but doesn’t mean taht people are going to love your music. I wish I went to a school of music for a long time, I wish I did study music but I chose a different path. I went to the, into a rock style, heavy metal bands, I used to play heavy metal with my friends and make bands.
And it’s just a tough path because heavy metal wasn’t popular music, it’s not classical, it’s not jazz, and you don’t know if you are going to be able to get a job. So you just have to go out there and do what you feel like doing. And I went to business school, I studied business for five years just to get a degree, to get a diploma and make sure that I wouldn’t be jobless someday .
But at some point I did realise that this wasn’t my way, so I have to stop it. And I decided, I made a decision with myself that I wanted to do music even if it didn’t work out cause that was my dream. I don’t want to give upon my dream, I don’t want to give upon myself and give upon my life. so I just stop working I put money on the side, I saved money and I start writing songs and songs.
The best advice I can give to someone wants to do music is to never give up. That’s the only thing I can tell.
Mikele：Okay I study sculpture, drawings and architecture for inside the room. I studied too politic science but it was… I don’t understand politics, xxx not good, my professor tell me ‘you don’t have to study this’. And it’s because I really love art, when I was a child I drew a lot a lot always.
I don’t imagine to be a singer when I was a child, but one day, I was a little bit wild when I was a child so I always take my bike and (ride the bike), away from home, very far away from home, and my mother ‘no you don’t take the bike…balabala’
And one day I see one little concert in a district, like this, not inside, just you know, outdoor. And I go with bike and I stay like this (still) The drummer ‘don don don don’…It was not a good concert but I thought ‘yes I want to make this!’
And after it was the moment of new wave, the dark music. And I really like this moment in my life when I discover a lot of rock group like Dépêche Mode, The Cure, like Joy Division and Bauhaus, and I really discovered music like this.
And one day I tried to convince my friend Michele Giannasso to ask the group Art Decade if we can have a fusion. And the guy tell me ‘yes (but) we can’t make a fusion with you, you know we are art decade, we are vert important’ ‘Okay just listen to the song’ Okay I will, it’s okay.’ And he listened the song and it was okay.
So we started the real group Art Decade and I was very happy. But I always drawing, I always like the art or the other
arts then it’s okay. I really like this.
I’m not…It’s just make up!Yes! Noemie know me in the real life so she can tell that I’m not beautiful. I’m not very beautiful but I can work on this. Don’t worry. Be strong… I try for you.
I think just one or two times, I write Flo Mothe on internet, but not more. because we know we were in the same project MOR so you never google (or) write on the internet. You never write on the internet the name of your friend. But I had to (???)
